Introduction
PitStop ("we", "us", "our") is a vehicle management application developed by Max Ermackov. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
We collect the following data when you use PitStop: • Account information: Email address, name (when you sign in via Google or Apple) • Vehicle data: Make, model, year, VIN, license plate, mileage, photos • Service records: Maintenance entries, fuel logs, modifications, documents • Usage data: App settings and preferences • Device information: Device model, OS version, app version (for support requests only)
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to: • Provide the PitStop app functionality • Sync your data across devices • Generate reports and statistics about your vehicles • Process support requests • Improve the app experience
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud platform with industry-standard encryption. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS), ensuring you can only access your own data.
Third-Party Services
PitStop uses the following third-party services: • Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage • Google Sign-In — Optional authentication method • Apple Sign-In — Optional authentication method • Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered receipt scanning (images are processed but not stored) • Vercel Analytics — Anonymous page view and visitor counting (no personal data, no cookies, GDPR-compliant) We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to: • Access your personal data • Correct inaccurate data • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten") • Export your data in a portable format • Object to data processing You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings.

Delete Your Account and Data
You can delete your PitStop account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
In the App (recommended)
Android & iOS: 1. Open the PitStop app 2. Go to "Settings" 3. Scroll to the bottom 4. Tap "Delete account" 5. Type "DELETE" into the confirmation field 6. Confirm the deletion Your account will be deleted immediately and you will be signed out.
Via Email (if the app is unavailable)
If you no longer have the app installed or have lost access, send an email to privacy@ermackov.de with the subject "Delete account" and the email address of your account. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed: • Your login account (email, authentication data) • All vehicles and associated data • All fuel, charging, service, and modification entries • All documents and reminders • All uploaded photos and files • All app settings and preferences There is no retention period — all data is deleted immediately and permanently.
Delete Individual Data (without deleting your account)
You can remove individual data at any time without deleting your account. All deletions take effect immediately and are permanent.
How to delete individual data
In the PitStop app (Android & iOS): • Delete a vehicle: Open Garage → select vehicle → Edit → "Delete". All fuel, charging, service, modification entries, documents, and reminders for the vehicle are removed with it. • Delete individual entries: Open vehicle → relevant tab (Fuel, Charging, Service, Mods) → swipe or long-press an entry → "Delete". • Delete documents: Documents tab → select document → "Delete". • Delete reminders: Reminders tab → swipe a reminder → "Delete". • Remove photos / receipts: Edit an entry → tap the attachment → "Remove".
Retention
Deleted data is removed from the database immediately. Associated files (photos, receipts) are removed from storage immediately by automatic storage triggers, and at the latest within 24 hours by a nightly cleanup job. There is no longer-term retention.
